The ghosts of Hamgate – now but a faint whisper in our collective memory – has made way for brighter prospects, festive cheer and enough glitz to outshine even the grandest of chandeliers.

Sparkles Christmas Giveaway

On Saturday past, the ever-fabulous Sparkles hosted a yuletide soirée that will be the talk of Habbo for seasons to come. Guests arrived draped in their finest pixels – sequins, snowflakes and a veritable parade of winter haute couture.
The pièce de résistance? A thrilling seat lottery that had VIPs on the edge of their Bonnie Blond pillows. The illustrious KevinNL walked away with the coveted 10HC prize, but worry not, darlings – there were gifts aplenty for all who attended.
To Sparkles, I raise a glass of eggnog for her impeccable hosting. Bravo!
A Maze-ing Collaboration: Christmas Edition
Sunday saw the grand unveiling of Collab Christmas Maze, a masterful project born of 18 of Habbo Origin’s finest maze builders. This is not just your average festive frolic, my dears – it’s a sprawling adventure featuring two mazes to suit all skill levels. Whether you favour the breezy escapades of the easy maze, or the daring twists of its harder sibling, there’s something for every intrepid explorer.
The prize pool? Over 3000c, along with raffle tickets for completing quests and side challenges. Winners will be drawn LIVE on Twitch on December 26th at 9pm GMT. Oh, and a special huzzah to Vincent, who has coordinated this labyrinthine delight with aplomb.

The Habbies: Let the Voting Begin

Awards season is upon us, and The Habbies are in full swing. Over the weekend, Habbos voted feverishly across a dazzling array of categories. Fear not, procrastinators – there’s still time to nominate your favourites at The Habbies website. Nominations close on December 19th, and voting commences the very next day.
The glittering reveal of this year’s winners takes place on December 23rd. Who will take home the laurels? I, for one, cannot wait to see who sparkles brightest.
TraderClub’s Winter Wonderland: Festive Giveaway Fundraiser
‘Tis the season of giving, and Inx at TraderClub is ending the year with a heartwarming campaign for SpecialEffect. $5,000 has already been raised this year from similar efforts, to support disabled gamers with custom equipment that brings the gaming worlds many of us enjoy with ease to life.
On Sunday, December 22nd at 2pm GMT, Inx will host a giveaway with 25 dinos already in the prize pool (and $500 direct to the charity), and invites donations of furni or coins to make it even grander. Donations are not required to participate, but as always, any generosity is deeply appreciated.
