Sofa on the Sofa
Dearest readers,
It is with great excitement that I introduce a new feature to my little corner of the internet: “Lady Pixelington: On the Sofa.” This series offers a chance to chat with some of the most delightful and fascinating members of our community, giving us a glimpse into their Habbo lives, their thoughts, and their stories.

For our very first session, it seemed only fitting to feature Sofa—the creative mind whose name inspired this series. Known for their imaginative builds and thoughtful reflections, Sofa shares with us their journey, memories, and hopes for Habbo Origins. Let’s dive in, gaming!
How long have you played Habbo Hotel, and why the username “Sofa”?
“Hi fren! Sofa because my modern Habbo name is SofaChazran because my signup email for that account in like 2016ish was chazranked##@emaildomain and Habbo just called my account SofaChazran off that. But people called me Sofa, and I thought it was neat, so when Origins came, I thought I’d keep up the name since I’ve been called that on modern for years now.”
What’s your favorite room in Habbo Origins?
“My favorite Habbo room is Jephyrr’s room because Macklebee honoring a passed Habbo is so special and honorable and nice. It shows how great he is.”

Of the Habbos you know…
Who’s most likely to go to jail?

“Jail, hmmmmmm, iGoldy. I’m not affiliated with him, but he seems like the contender lol.”
Who’s most likely to become famous?

“Famous, hmmmmmmmm…
Dovak probably. He does a lot.”
Who’s most likely to become President of the USA?

“President of USA? Hmmmmmm, by definition, they need to be born in the USA to be president. Hmmmmmm, so many Habbos are European. Very difficult one to answer… going to go with an unknown user to most: my buddy user ‘Ty,’ who is just a goofy American friend, because that’s about the only American I can think of.”
What’s one thing you’d like to see happen with Origins within the next month?
“More in-depth options menu like Old School RuneScape has. Various sound sliders, toggles for simple things like chat history starting at the top or bottom, etc. Just lots of options added for settings.”
What’s your favourite piece of furni?

“Infobus.”
Do you have a message for the community?
“I think people have learned that the issues aren’t so much with Dave, it’s with only having one developer. People gotta realize updates are going to be slow, but Dave loves the game so much, and long-term, Habbo Hotel Origins is going to take off for sure. It’s so nice to have a game not being run into the ground for no reason.
I’m not sure exactly what the message is, but just deal with the small issues Habbo Hotel has for now because it’s all better in the long run than the path modern Habbo went down. I feel our game is going to grow into something way better that we all enjoy—not filled with features we don’t want but put up with until we don’t.”

Mini-Bio: Sofa’s Magnum Opus
“My magnum opus of Habbo is my modern room: a 100+ linking-room labyrinth of just rooms I built for no purpose other than for people to explore. It’s a shame it’s not going to be expanded further because I find Origins so much more fun.
I’m excited for in years to come when I can build up my Origins rooms to be a massive labyrinth of explorable stuff like on modern. Habbo Hotel was meant to be played by building a ton and also socializing, but people build like one-off rooms or event labyrinths. I don’t see many multi-room house/world-type stuff much anymore. I have some various nice favorite Habbo moments from various friend groups I’ve met throughout the years, but I’ve kind of just thrown away most modern Habbo memories since it’s so convoluted. So many people quit, and it’s not what it used to be. Origins feels like such a nice place to make new friends, hang out, and stuff.”

Rapid-Fire Round
Pineapple on pizza—yes or no?
“Pineapple pizza is good, but if I’m ordering my own like 3–4 topping pizza, I always spam meat toppings instead because extra pizza toppings are too expensive here. Feels more bang for buck with meat, but yes, pineapple on pizza if free is nice.”
First thing you’d buy with 10,000 credits?
“Since I can’t directly buy furni, I would just spend it on more rares than I need over several weeks and building new random rooms. I’d probably buy so much mode and pura furni just to build massive rooms with little purpose. But I’d start building my Habbo Origins labyrinth with it.”
Favorite dance move in Habbo?
“Hab-Hop. Best dance move ever. Always Hab-Hop. It is rigid routine.”

Your go-to phrase when something wild happens in-game?
“Gaming.”
And there you have it—a delightful dive into the world of Sofa. From their labyrinth of rooms to their insights on the community, Sofa truly embodies the creativity and camaraderie of Habbo Origins.
Thank you, Sofa, for sharing your journey—you’re positively fabulous! Keep gaming, fren!
And so, dear reader, we come to the close of this edition of On The Sofa.
