Lady Pixelington’s Response: A Lesson in Elegance

Dearest readers,

It appears the ever-entertaining Dublyu has mistaken my gentle critique for a full-blown scandal. How utterly delightful! One must appreciate his ability to twist the narrative – if only his so-jalled “journalism” displayed the same creativity. Allow me to set the record straight, for clarity and truth are the hallmarks of a true columnist.

First, let us address the venomous accusations of “cyber-bullying”. Dublyu, dearest, if my lighthearted comment regarding the accuracy of your reporting has ruffled your feathers, I fear you’ve misunderstood the nature of public discourse. A touch of wit and a sprinkle of constructive critique are not venom – they are a call to rise higher.

Now, onto the curious length of your columns, dear. They do tend to ramble, don’t they? I’d almost suspect a certain AI assistant at work – though even ChatGPT knows the importance of brevity when engaging a community. My advice, dear Dublyu? Less is more. The community doesn’t need an essay; they need substance.

Speaking of substance, let’s discuss the focus of our respective platforms. My website has been, and always will be, about the community – highlighting their stories, their achievements, and their dreams. Yours, on the other hand, seems more of a vehicle for self-promotion and inside jokes between you and your friends. While there’s a place for all voices, might I suggest a touch more inclusivity in your approach? A broader view would do wonders.

As for “repainted OG Plasto”, my, what a scandalous insinuation! While I won’t dignify baseless rumours with a defence, I do hope this newfound detective energy of yours might someday be applied to uncovering real stories of substance. until then, I’ll happily lend you my thesaurus, as you seem quite fond of the word “venom”.

Finally, let us return to the matter of the community, Dublyu. I do applaud you passion – misguided though it may be – and I assure you that my commitment to Habbo Origins remains steadfast. Where I offer sparkle, comraderie, and genuine affection for our little pixel rooms, you seem determined to divide with your relentless need for drama. Do remember, darling: a community thrives on unity, not unfounded accusations.

To my readers, thank you for your continued support and understanding during this little kerfuffle. Rest assured, Lady Pixelington will continue to write for you with wit, warmth and unwavering poise.

With love, a twinkling wink, and a touch of sparkle…

P.S. Dublyu, darling, do keep “keeping it real.” The community loves a good comedy. 😉 But please consider this matter closed. I don’t intend to keep up with the battle of words. We are a community, dear.
