Dearest Gentlest Readers,
It is I, Lady Pixelington, your ever-curious chronicler of kindness and good cheer! For moons upon moons, I have delighted in uncovering the gems of our community – those dazzling souls who spread joy, host incredible events, and make Habbo Origins a brighter, kinder place. Together, we’ve shared stories of generosity, creativity and connection.
But even the brightest spotlights must dim and I find myself at a crossroads. There’s a truth I’ve been holding onto, tucked away like a secret recipe for the perfect moment. And tonight, my dear friends, it’s time to share it.
Oh who am I kidding? It’s time to tell you who I really am!
My name is Matthew, and for all this time, Lady Pixelington has been my persona – a reflection of my unwavering commitment to spread kindness and positivity. Lady P was born out of a reaction to the “gossip websites” that emerged in our community. While some were lighthearted fun (Dublyu, I see you!), others turned toxic and personal. I created this site to celebrate the great things happening in Habbo Origins: the events, the kindness, and the creative magic that keeps our community thriving.
Spreading good vibes is always who I’ve been, both as Lady Pixelington and myself. Through HabboKindness.com, enigmas events, The Quackory Partnerships, Soapbox Sessions, Traxotto, giveaways, and donations, my goal has always been to uplift the community. And now, halfway through Origins Hogwarts, we’re running one of the biggest player-led events ever, with nearly 300 players enjoying a safe, inclusive space.

Lady Pixelington was my way of countering toxicity – not with anger, but with humour, kindness and lighthearted fun. It was my response to the negativity, a way to negate it while shining a spotlight on all the good that exists in this community.
Yet, despite these efforts, I can’t ignore the challenges that persist. I’ve long hoped Habbo would step up its moderation and create a truly safe space for everyone. Sadly, the lack of consistent action has allowed harassment, doxxing, homophobia, racism and ableism to go unchecked for to long. While some steps have been taken, it’s far from enough.
This isn’t to say “The Trolls Won”. It’s more accurate to say, “Habbo Lost”. They’ve lost so many strong, positive players who simply didn’t want to endure harassment night after night in their free time. Grown adults who quite rightly weren’t going to sit and try to put up with degenerates ruining what little free time we get in our adult lives. If Habbo wants to grow and appeal to a wider audience, better moderation and stronger community engagement are essential.
To their credit, development efforts have improved drastically – and I’ve always acknowledged that. But the moderation piece, and Habbo’s understanding of what the community needs, is sorely lacking. Those still unnamed folk who throw lacklustre competitions our way, yet refuse to engage with us in any meaningful way are too disconnected from their player base to create something truly exciting. But I’ve said enough on that in other places, and this is becoming wordy enough (surprise, surprise!).
And so with that, this is the end of Lady Pixelington – for now. Perhaps the site will reinvent itself someday, but for now, it’s time to step out of her Victorian study. This persona was a joy to create, a mix of whimsy, humour and kindness (with a lot of help from ChatGPT), but the time has come to move on.
I’m still here on Habbo, and my plan for now is to continue to create engaging, fair, and exciting events – both as myself and in partnership with BobBarker (The Quakory).
To everyone who supported Lady Pixelington, laughed at her antics, or found a bit of joy in her stories, thank you. I hope she brought some light to your day and reminded you of the kindness that makes this community special.
And to those who were accused of being me – you lucky things. Some of you clocked it from the start. But to Ash, Dave,11, BaWu, Dublyu, and anyone else who was “accused” of being Lady P – I hope you enjoyed the ride.
To the three people who knew – BobBarker, Rhyss, Bigdog666, thank you for keeping the secret. (And ActiveGirl was pretty darn close!)
Signing off for now – yours in pixels and poise,
